Escondido, CA -- One of Quality Chevrolet's customers, Major Jason Filos, is deployed at Camp Leatherneck in Afghanistan and while working with Internet Sales Specialist Randall Blaum on building a new Silverado for him that will be ready when he gets back in March, 2011 Major Filos asked for a Chevy banner that he would post on base to "bring the sprit of America" to his personnel. The Quality Chevrolet Team is taking Major Filos' request for a banner one step further and is purchasing items to go into 50 "Giving More" packages that will be packed and shipped to Camp Leatherneck this Wednesday December 1, 2010. The assembly and packing will commence at 1:00pm at the dealership, located at 1550 Auto Park Way in Escondido. The Giving More packages will be assembled in the lobby of the dealership and everyone is invited to help with the Giving More project. All area residents are also encouraged to bring additional Sunscreen, Lip balm, Jerky, Candy, Coffee, DVD's, Books, Toothpaste, Eye drops, Mints, Gum, Magazines, Letters and Cards, Energy Bars, Razors and especially cards and letters to our service men and women to be inserted into the "Giving More" packages. The men and women at Camp Leatherneck in Afghanistan will take photos and video in front of the banner and send it back to Quality Chevrolet so everyone can share in their excitement about this gift from home.
